The only album from 1975 by Solis Lacus, a cult group formed by Michel Herr, a pioneer of European electric jazz. Michel Herr gained attention at jazz festivals and subsequently accompanied and performed with top artists on tours in Europe and the United States, and then he recorded with Belgian members including Bruno Castellucci (ex Placebo) and Richard Rousselet, and was inspired by jazz rock, expanding the scope of musical expression. All 6 tracks are truly superb, with each performance grooving in a way that seems to intertwine with the others, ranging from mellow to funky. Bruno Castellucci's tight drumming, which is particularly precise, is captivating. Amazing. Belgian Original.
