Paz, the jazz group formed by bandleader/percussionist Dick Crouch, who gathered the finest jazz musicians of the time. A legendary group in British history, active for many years with a style blending jazz, Latin, funk, classical, folk, ethnic heavily incorporating Brazilian percussion. This is their first album, released in 1978. The album is flawless throughout, it begins with “Crotales” which elegantly grooves from oriental atmosphere. the psychedelic undulating second half of "Solar Wind", showcasing ECM like sonic beauty, followed by the B-side which played almost entirely free, features the synth-enhanced jazz rock number “The Buddha” displaying Latin idioms, moody and enigmatic “Time Stood Still” and mystical atmosphere where the breath of the forest and flute intertwine title track "Kandeen Love Song" . True masterpiece equally as popular as the next album. This one has not yet been reissued. In beautiful condition.
