This is believed to be the only record released in 1979 by New York-born jazz guitarist Dan Rose. The entire album features avant-oriented sound, with participation of talented musicians including Mark Whitecage, Mario Pavone, Perry Robinson, John Betsch. "C'Est Un Poisson Du Reve," in which the earthy tones of the flute are organically intertwined with soft playing, Our highlights of this album are “C'Est Un Poisson Du Reve” in which the earthy sound of the flute is organically intertwined with gentle performance, and sophisticated contemporary jazz piece "E.D." with sweet and sad ensemble. Highly recommended to ECM lovers. An unknown great one from a small label in Connecticut.
