The only album by Cossi Anatz, a group led by trumpet player Michel Marre, who has been a member of Intercommunal Free Dance Music Orchestra since the 70's, and has also worked with Archie Shepp and Pierre Dørge & New Jungle Orchestra and many others in the 80's. Moroccan percussionist Lahcen Hilali, percussion oboe Michel Marre’s ally Claude Marre, drummer René Nan of Jacques Denjean Et Son Orchestre, pianist Christian Lavigne, and saxophonist Jean-Marc Padovani. It's French modal jazz at its best, with the label's color of popular music and experimentation added to the scale and impressive of their performances. Superb piece. Original beautiful condition.
