7" single in 1969 was produced by African actor/poet Alfred Panou, who got along well with Pierre Barouh, the boss of the prestigious French Saravah label. The Art Ensemble Of Chicago, an avant-jazz group from Chicago that was active in France at the time, improvised on this two-tunes set with a poetry reading by Alfred Panou. On the A side, "Je Suis Un Sauvage" afro-groove with dope bass line that builds to a frenzy in the latter half, and on B side, "Le Moral Nécessaire" a narrative reading with a street-like free-form performance. It's a miraculous wired sound, a historical work that can be seen as an important moment in black music. The engineer is Daniel Vallancien. Original.
