This is an attempt to perform the disco sound of film music of the past using the cutting-edge Yamaha GX-1 of that era. The album features the performance of female keyboardist Yuki Nishimura, who returned to Japan from a several-year stay in California, and all arrangements were done by Chikara Ueda. Contains a disco sound accented by the indescribable high tone of the Yamaha GX-1. Among them, "Some Where" is an arrangement of a song from the movie "West Side Story" with vocals, "Sunrise Sunset" is a groovy mid-disco version of a musical song, and mellow synth disco version of “My Favorite Things” are worth listening to. Comes with a rare obi.

その時代の最先端であったヤマハGX-1を使い往年の映画音楽をディスコ・サウンドで演奏しようという試みのレコード。数年のカルフォルニア滞在から帰国した女性鍵盤奏者西村ユキを演奏面でフィーチャーし、アレンジは全て上田力が担当。ヤマハGX-1のなんとも言えないハイ・トーンな音色もアクセントのディスコ・サウンドを収録。中でも「ウエスト・サイド物語」の劇中曲をヴォーカル入りでアレンジした"Some Where"、ミュージカルの楽曲をグルーヴィなミッド・ディスコに仕立てた”Sunrise Sunset”、「サウンド・オブ・ミュージック」を楽曲をメロウシンセディスコにした”My Favorite Things"などは聴き所。稀少な帯付き。
