Yukako Hayase, a singer/actress/composer gaining popularity both domestically and internationally with her signature ennui whisper voice. This 1988 release marks her fourth work, co-produced with Masatoshi Mizuno. She handled all lyrics and composed 5 tracks, projecting her worldview through a world music lens blending Ethno, Latin, Bossa Nova, Jazz. All 7 tracks are rich and well-crafted, with standouts including the ennui ethno dub pop "Sabaku No Pool" the sentimental bossa nova tune "Cold Water", ethno new age "Land, Beloved -Okinawa-" using Okinawan scales, and ethno synth balearic "Penifa". In our opinion, this is her best work. The shrink wrap is torn, but it comes with the hype sticker. Also included are the signed card and the original half-ticket stub from the live show, which we're including here. Disc condition is EX to NM, an exceptionally pristine copy. Due to the transition to CDs, the LP version has been difficult to find for many years.
アンニュイなウィスパーボイスを特徴に国内外問わず人気を高める歌手/女優/作曲家 早瀬優香子。本作は4作目の作品に当たる水野正敏との共同プロデュースでリリースされた88年作。全作詩と5曲の作曲を担当しエスノ、ラテン、ボサノバ、ジャズなどがミックスされたワールドミュージック視点の自己を投影した作風としても捉えられます。全7曲濃厚でしっかり作り上げられてますが、特にアンニュイ加減が効いたエスノ・ダブポップ”さばくのPool”、センチメンタルなボッサ・チューン”冷たい水”、沖縄の音階を用いたエスノ・ニューエイジ”土地、愛すべきもの -沖縄-”、エスノ・シンセ・バレアリック”Penifa”は出色。当店的には彼女のベスト作品。シュリンク破れありますがハイプステッカー付いています、そしてサイン色紙と当時のライブチケット半券が封入していたのでこちらもお付けします。盤面EXからNMの超美品。CD移行期もありLP版は長年入手困難となっています。
