Yoko Nagayama, who is now widely known as an enka singer, released this promo only 12" single during the idol singer period in the 80's. All the tunes are 45rpm covers in Japanese and good contents, particularly "New Day For You (Cosmic Mix)" which is a cosmic mix of Basia, Johnny Hates Jazz's anti-war tune cover "I Don't Want To Be" A Hero” are recommended. Rare.
現在は演歌歌手として大きく知られる長山洋子が80年代のアイドル歌手期にプロモオンリーでリリースしていた12インチシングル。全て45回転の日本語でカバーした構成で、どの曲もいい塩梅ですがBasiaをコズミックミックスした”New Day For You (Cosmic Mix)”、Johnny Hates Jazzの反戦ソングカバー”I Don't Want To Be A Hero”は中でもオススメ。あまり見かけない一枚です。
