The first album of female singer Yoco Obata in 1985. A city pop album with a tropical mood, as you can imagine from the title, and the main producers are Ginji Ito, and joining Mu-Project Ryoichi Kuniyoshi and Anri etc. The tropical city pop of "Tropical Mermaid", the urban middle pop of "Shining Boy" and the resort pop of "Cobalt Postcards" by Anri are highly recommended.
女性歌手 小幡洋子のファーストアルバムに当たる85年作。タイトルからも想像できる南国ムードを取り入れたシティポップアルバムでメインプロデューサーに伊藤銀二、Mu-Project国吉良一、杏里などが参加した良作。中でもトロピカルムードなシティポップ”南国人魚姫”、アーバン・ミドル・ポップ”Shining Boy”、杏里作のリゾートポップ的な”コバルトの絵葉書”などオススメです。
