The only album in 1985 by the duo group "Erika" renamed "Screen" since the 1970s , formed by music producer/SSW Yasushi Suzuki and singer Yoshio Takahashi. They have completed an AOR/ballad piece that contains a lot of the urban essence of this era. Jun Irie, Takao Takeuchi, Tsuyoshi Kon, Shoji Namba, Jake H. Concepcion, Eiji Shimamura, and others also participated in Arrangement/backing. Above all, the melancholy urban ballad "Waiting for the Evening Calm", AOR number that Kyohei Tsutsumi is the only one to compose "Namida Wo Uchiakete", and the sweet tune "Summer Buried Monogatari" are amazing. It's one of the most complete works of its kind we think. The band was not commercially successful, but really good piece that has received remarkable acclaim in recent years, including a reunion in 2014.
音楽プロデューサー/SSW 鈴木康志とシンガー高橋佳生が70年代より結成していたデュオグループ「エリカ」改め「Screen」による85年の唯一のアルバム。この時代らしい都会的なエッセンスを多分に含んだAOR/バラード作品を完成させています。アレンジ/バッキングにも入江純、竹内隆夫、今剛、難波正司、Jake H. Concepcion、島村英二などが参加。中でも哀愁を醸し出すアーバンバラッド”夕凪を待って”、筒美京平が唯一作曲を手掛けている疾走感のあるAORナンバー”涙をうちあけて”、スウィート・チューン”夏に埋めた物語”など筆頭にこの手の作品の中でもひとつ抜けた感のある完成度。商業的には成功しなかったのでしょうか。2014年には再結成されるなど近年評価著しい良作です。
