Actress/singer Mitsuko Baisho, who has appeared in many Akira Kurosawa films, ex-wife of Antonio Inoki (a famous professional wrestler), and as a singer has left many singles such as mood songs since the 60s. Produced by Masao Yagi, who is also known for his work with Electro Keyboard Orchestra, the album is unknown and full of quality, has a wide range of compositions from pop, mood to reggae type tune. The two best tracks are the strange luxury synth-pop "Dream Madonna" on B3 and the urban mid-funk "Love at Dusk" on A4. Other good ones are wa-reggae tune B4 and ethereal synthpop A1. Similar vibes to Marica and Akina Nakamori. Highly recommended!
多くの黒澤明作品への出演、アントニオ猪木の元妻、歌手としては60年代から歌手としてムード歌謡など多くのシングルを残す女優/歌手 倍賞美津子の85年のアルバム。プロデュースにはElectro Keyboard Orchestraでの活動でも知られる八木正生が担当し、ポップ、ムード歌謡からレゲエ路線の楽曲まで幅広い構成ながらもクオリティ満載の知られざる一枚。特にB3に収録のストレンジ・ラグジュアリー・シンセポップ”夢窓女(ゆめマドンナ)”とA4アーバン・ミッド・ファンク”夕暮れに恋して”の2曲が最高。他にも和レゲエ解釈のB4、エセリアル調シンセポップA1などもいいです。Maricaや中森明菜にも通じるものがあります。
