7-inch single from 1983 by Mabu, a unique two-woman unit that used to belong to Yoshimoto Kogyo (A company has signed many comedians). At that time, there were many stages related to Shanghai, oriental melody of the pop tune "From Shanghai Bay" is on the A-side, sentimental ballad pop song "Blue Umbrellas" is included on the B-side. Both are unique and good tunes.
吉本興業に所属していたという異色の女性二人組ユニット マブの83年の7インチシングル。その当時、上海にまつわる舞台が数多く行われていた事から上海がタイトルにつけられたオリエンタルなメロディのポップ・チューン”上海Bayから”をA面、センチメンタルなバラード・ポップ”ブルーの雨傘”をB面に収録。なかなか面白い仕上がりです。
