A terrific work that attempts to combine the Sutra meets Samba. As the description states, the two pieces of music at the extremes of stillness and motion were performed by a group of six monks and percussionists. Honestly want more beat variation but it's nice especially for DJ or performer. The cover is by Tadanori Yokoo.
法華経の読経とラテン・ビートの共存を試みた凄い作品。説明にある様に静と動の両極に位置する二つの音楽を6人の僧侶とパーカッション・グループにて演奏した模様を収録。欲を言えばもう少しビートのバリエーションが欲しい所ですが、DJなどの飛び道具としても威力を発揮しそうです。カバーは横尾忠則が手掛けています。
