Composer Takashi Miki, whose wide range of hit songs include "Toki No Nagare Ni Mi Wo Makase", "Anpanman March", "Tsugaru Kaikyo Fuyugeshiki" wrote this album for a musical starring Sayuri Ishikawa who known as very famous Enka singer. At the time, Sayuri Ishikawa's aforementioned "Tsugaru Kaikyo Fuyugeshiki" was a big hit, and even at the height of her popularity, she left behind work like this. It has sounds of progressive rock, dope rare groove, funk, etc and it's quite strange contents. The dope and shimmering rare groove tune A2, the funky boogie B4, and the thrilling cosmic suite D4 are especially great. It's going to be treated as dark history...
”時の流れに身をまかせ”,”アンパンマンのマーチ”,"津軽海峡冬景色”など幅広いヒット曲を持つ作曲家 三木たかしが石川さゆり主演のミュージカルの為に書き下ろした78年の二枚組アルバム。当時、石川さゆりは前述の"津軽海峡冬景色”が大ヒットし、絶頂期にも関わらずこんな作品も残していました。それがまたプログレあり、ドープなレアグルーヴ曲あり、ファンクありとなかなかパンチの効いた内容。特にドープに煌めくレアグルーヴ曲A2、ファンキー・ブギーB4、スリリングな宇宙的組曲D4は秀逸。ミュージカル音源だからこそのグルーヴ満載です。闇歴史として扱われてそうですね笑
