Aspirin Records, the predecessor label of Balcony records, known for the releases of Hikashu,Toshiyuki Tsuchitori, Cock C' Nell, Jagatara , this single is only and final release from Aspirin by five-piece new wave pop band Sasara. It contains three twisted tunes that feel like a stepping stone to that Balcony record, among them,oriental atmosphere of B2 "Cantonese Syonendan" is the highlight, and the psychological pattern of A side "Jyokyomusume" is also quite nice with lovely lyrics. It's not easy to find.
ヒカシュー,土取利行,Cock C' Nell,じゃがたらのリリースで知られるBalcony Recordsの前身レーベルAspirin Recordsの最終リリースとなる5人組ニューウェーブポップバンドささらの唯一作。そのbalcony Recordsへの布石にも感じる捻りの効いた3曲を収録していて、中でも曲名からも想像できるオリエンタルな雰囲気のB2”広東少年団”がハイライト、A面の上京の心理模様な歌詞も愛らしい”上京娘”も悪くないです。探すとなかなかないんです。久々に入荷できました。
