The label "Switch" is known for its mysteriously attractive artists such as Akio Niitsu and Ayuo Takahashi and its releases of 45 rpm mini-album style, which were popular at the time. This is 1985 album by the performance avant band Katra Turana. Among them, organic NW track "Tsuriganemushi no Uta" with intense beats and various acoustic tones is excellent and last tune "The End --Evn" which seems to be listening to some ethnic music that occupies the other four parts is also interesting.
新津章夫や高橋鮎生など不思議な魅力のアーティスト、当時の流行りであったという45回転のミニアルバム仕様のリリースで知られるレーベル”Switch”。本作はパフォーマンス・アヴァン・バンドKatra Turanaの85年作。強烈なビート、様々なアコースティックの音色の有機NWトラック”ツリガネムシの唄”が秀逸。その他を占める4部構成となっているどこかの民族音楽をきいているようなラスト”The End - Evn”も面白いです。
