Self-releases album released in 1983 by the still mysterious Hidenori(Hideki?) Kobayashi, a.k.a. Hotaru Band. His career started with the Beatles, then moved on to Jazz and Soul, and while activing at live house like a JEAN JEAN, he released this album after about 10 years of silence. Only two songs include drums, but most of them are performed by Kobayashi hisself, and the entire album has a DIY city sound similar to that of Satoshi Suzuki. The harmony of the synths and electric guitars and the distinctive croaky vocals is somehow endearing. Under the rader.

未だ謎多き螢バンドこと小林秀紀が83年にリリースした自主制作盤。ビートルズに始まりジャズやソウルを経由しながらJEAN JEANなどで活動しながら約10年の沈黙を経てリリースしたというアルバムのようです。2曲のみドラムを入れていますがほとんどは小林ひとりの演奏によるもので、鈴木慧に見るようなDIY的なシティサウンドを全編に収録しています。シンセやエレクトリックギターの音色と特徴的なだみ声ボーカルのハーモニーがなんだか愛おしく聞こえてきます。全10曲。
