Mizusumashi's only flexi disc single was released by Cragale, the label that produced Lewisite and P.T.A's, and is based at Yokohama's alternative music cafe "Muon". The band is made up of 6 members, including Jiro Miyake (ex Luna Park Ensemble) and Mitsumasa Saito (ex Sasara, Mizutama Shobodan). It seems like a one-off project, but it features quality avant progressive sound throughout. All 3 tracks are great, but the most notable are "Implicit Landscape" which has an underground vibe with distorted guitars, synths, and melancholic vocals, and the title track "Mizusumashi" which drifts back and forth.
横浜のオルタナティブ・ミュージック・カフェ“夢音”を拠点に LewisiteやP.T.A'sを生んだクラゲイルからリリースされた水すまし唯一のソノシートシングル。メンバーは三宅 二朗 (ex Luna Park Ensemble), 斉藤光正(ex ささら, 水玉消防団)を含む6人編成。ワンオフ的なプロジェクトと思われますが、前衛的なプログレッシブサウンドを全編で展開。全3曲いいですが、歪んだギター、シンセ、憂鬱なヴォーカルを交えアングラ臭を放ち続ける”暗黙の風景”、ゆらゆらと漂うタイトル曲”水すまし”を収録。クオリティを備えた一枚です。
