A collection of sound of the children's musical "Kurtchen's Hat" which was adapted for the stage in 1985. The music is composed by Bun Itakura and Kazuto Shimizu of Chakra, Daisaku Kume of Prism, and other members such as Banana, Tatsuro Kondo, Jun Aoyama, and Reichi. Total 6 tracks of 45 rpm specifications that show thrilling/rhythmic, and serious musicality even though it is for children. Full of wired songs that are said to be their true value include highlights of strange dance song "Neighborhood is the Best in the World" and the thrilling experimental fantasy "Forest of Thorns". Amazing. It's a hidden master work that people who saw it live at the time say that the impression of the music remains.

1985年に舞台化された子ども向けミュージカル「キュルトヘンの帽子」音源集。音楽面をチャクラの板倉文と清水一登、プリズムなどで活動した久米大作が手掛け他にもバナナ、近藤達郎、青山純、れいちといったメンバーが参加しています。スリリングかつリズミカル、子供向けとは言えシリアスな音楽性を覗かせる45回転仕様の6曲を収録。ハイライトのヘンテコなダンス曲”ご近所様が世界で一番”、スリリングな実験風ファンタジー曲”いばらの花の森”を筆頭に彼らの真骨頂と言わんばかりの一筋縄ではいかない楽曲だらけ。最高。当時生で見た人も音楽の印象が残っていると語る隠れた名作と言っていい内容です。
