Israeli singer-songwriter Igal Bashan's 1976 album. It's one of his most popular albums, with its middle-eastern atmosphere, acid, keyboard work by Alona Turel, and moderate sense of rhythm. First of all, the synth mid funk "Esh'al Elohai" at the beginning is the highlight, followed by B2 "Odeh Le'eli" with its sludgy psychedelic atmosphere, languid vocals, shimmering synths, and the slow/loose tension folky rock tunes A2/A3 are also pretty good. Good contents throughout.
イスラエル人シンガーソングライターIgal Bashanによる76年作。ミドルイーストの雰囲気に、アシッド、Alona Turelによる鍵盤ワーク、適度なリズム感が絶妙に相まった彼の作品群でも大きく支持を得ている一枚。まずは冒頭のシンセ・ミッド・ファンク”Esh'al Elohai”が最高、続いてドロドロとしたサイケっぽい雰囲気に気怠いヴォーカル、シンセが煌めくB2”Odeh Le'eli”、緩いテンションのフォークロック調のA2/A3もかなりいい具合です。全体を通して素晴らしい内容。
