Afghanistan, a landlocked country located at the crossroads of Central and South Asia, is called the crossroads of civilizations because of its diverse cultures as the center of the Silk Road, but it is still under international tension due to the conflict that broke out in the late 1970s. This is the Japanese release of the Afghanistan edition of the ethnic music series released in 1972 by the British Argo label. The recordings are from 1955 and 1970, and include performance songs, solos, and love songs on instruments used in the region, such as Gichak, Zeir-Baghali, Sūrnāy. As you can see from Tomoaki Fujii's compilation of five LPs in 1979, there is an excellent musical compendium, and he emotional love songs sung by the men on this album are what you should really listen to (A3, B3).

A1 - Muhammad Naim Mazari, Malang Nejrabi – Goltamash Ai Nazaneen =

A3 - Abdul Kader – Patriotic Song =

A4 - Muhammad Naim Mazari, Malang Nejrabi – Tribal Song =

B1 - Ustad Muhammad, Gul Alam – Rubaba =

B2 - Muhammad Naim Mazari, Malang Nejrabi - Pashto Love Song =

B3 - Abdul Kader - Dari Love Song =
