A cover album of ”Filin” songs released between 1989 and 1990 by Pablo Milanés, a leading singer-songwriter of the Nueva Trova. Known for his passion for preserving and passing on traditional music, the album features numerous songs by key figures of the Filin movement such as César Portillo de la Luz and José Antonio Méndezre, viving the legacy of Cuba’s golden age with a modern approach. The tracks are wonderful and clearly show a great deal of respect. Absolutely fantastic. Mexican cassette version.
