1975 release by Nigerian highlife musician Mike Ejeagha and his band. This album also includes a warm Afro sound that incorporates elements of tropical, dub, and reggae that are common to his works. Total 6 tracks include opening track "Onye Ndidi N'Eli Azu Ukpo-O" wrapped in warm vibes and "Welu Nwayo Sobe Ihe Uwa-A" with its cheerful vocals and relaxing saxophone. The whole contents is great with this kind of sound. This is our type of Afro music.
ナイジェリア人ハイライフミュージシャンMike Ejeaghaとその楽団による75年作。彼の作品に共通するトロピカル、ダブ、レゲエの要素を取り入れたようなほっこりとしたアフロサウンドを本作でも収録。冒頭の暖かなバイブスに包まれた”Onye Ndidi N'Eli Azu Ukpo-O”に始まり、陽気なヴォーカル、力の抜けたようなサックスにもにんまりな”Welu Nwayo Sobe Ihe Uwa-A”を筆頭に全6曲を収録。全編こんな調子で最高です。当店が追い求めるようなアフロ作品。再入荷できました。
