Gal Costa's 1978 album, representing Brazil's premier singer. Featuring an all-star lineup including Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Sivuca, Milton Nascimento, Luiz Gonzaga Jr., more in composition and performance. Our current mood is “O Gosto Do Amor” featuring unique vocal interplay Luiz Gonzaga Jr. with accordion and electric piano, “A Mulher,” weaving Caetano's rock feel with Brazilian rhythms and “Cadê” with Milton's flowing arrangement accented by Marcos Resende's synth. The masterpiece, scattering diverse elements throughout, also marked a turning point in her career. Listening again reveals so many new discoveries. The Japanese edition with obi strip we'd been searching for all along.
ご存知ブラジルを代表するシンガーGal Costaの78年作。Caetano Veloso,はじめGilberto Gil, Sivuca Milton Nascimento, Luiz Gonzaga Jnrなど錚々たるメンバーが作曲/演奏面で参加。Luiz Gonzaga Jrの気だるい歌声にアコーディオンやエレピが舞う”O Gosto Do Amor”、カエターノ作のロックなフィーリングとブラジルのリズムが織り成す”A Mulher”、 ミルトン作の流れるような展開にMarcos Resendeのシンセがアクセントになった”Cadê”が今の気分ですが、様々な要素を散りばめた彼女の分岐点にもなった名作。改めて聴きなおすと色んな発見があります。ずっと探していた日本版帯付き。
