Canadian sound artist Michael Tolson aka tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE who has a long history of releases with a focus on sound work and bookbinding with multiple tricks. This is a cassette tape from 1995, about the same time the his first LP was released. It's called "Bogus Piano Concerto" and contains improvisational performances of synths, samplers, effectors, Side A is an abstract content that gradually gets hot, Side B is full of interesting gimmicks such that various sounds closer to the experimental appear and disappear. There are all kinds of people in this world.
カナダ人サウンドアーティストtENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCEことMichael Tolson。幾重にも仕掛けがあるサウンドワークや装丁などにもこだわったリリース歴を重ねる人物。こちらは1st LPが発表された頃と同時期に当たる95年のカセットテープ作品。"Bogus Piano Concerto"と名付けられシンセ、サンプラー、エフェクター等の即興パフォーマンスが収録されていて、A面は徐々に熱気を帯びて来るアブストラクトな内容、B面はどちらかというとエクスペリメンタル寄りの様々な音が現れては消えるというような面白い仕掛けが満載。世の中には色んな人がいるもんです。
