A solitary German synthesist/home-recording electronic musician Rüdiger Lorenz who worked as a pharmacist while consistently releasing works on his own label from the early 1980s until just before his death in 2000. This 1984 album features nine delusional electro tracks that respond to abstract, exotic, and cosmic influences inspired by southern regions such as the Sandwich Islands, Hervey Islands, Antarctica, and Tonga, as can be seen from the track titles. Great overall, especially recommend to start with the abstract electro “Imbrassion” and the exotic/industrial sounding “Forgotten Island”. Original, beautiful condition. Copied inserts are also included.
薬剤師を生業としながら80年初頭から亡くなる2000年手前まで自主レーベルからコンスタントに作品をリリースし続けた孤高のドイツ人シンセシスト/宅録電子音楽家Rüdiger Lorenz。この84年作では曲名に見て取れるサンドウィッチ諸島、ハーベイ諸島、南極大陸、トンガなどを南方地域をインスピレーションにアブストラクト、エキゾ、コズミック等が反応した妄想エレクトロ全9曲を収録。どれもみなぎっぱなしですが、アブストラクト・エレクトロ”Imbrassion”やエキゾ/インダストリアルな響きを充満させる”Forgotten Island”辺りから聞いてみて下さい。オリジナル美品。コピーされたインサートも付属しています。
