Costin Miereanu, a composer from Bucharest, has been attracting a great deal of attention in recent years due to the discovery of dead stock of his sound experimental works left behind in the 1980s. This is a cassette only release from the "Environmental Music Series" that he released prior to his four works from 1984. The artist himself says that this piece might be compared to music of the sea; so both sides feature long electronic minimal pieces with electric pulses and ambience that appear and disappear in the flow and reflux of ocean waves. It is like being swallowed by an electronic vortex. Still incredible!
