A library work about "Africa" by the French drummer André Ceccarelli a.k.a. Dédé and the keyboardist/composer André Ceccarelli, who have been working together for many years. One of the most popular pieces of their work, which has a delicate yet wild side created with numerous percussion instruments, flutes, African drums, etc. Among them, the ambient type tune "Vision Future," which evokes the vast savannah, "Forest," with its clear and fresh sound of marimba and xylophone, and the beautiful new age track "Landscape" are all impressive contents throughout.
長年コンビを組んできたフランス人ドラム奏者DédéことAndré Ceccarelliと鍵盤奏者/コンポーザーAndré Ceccarelliによる「アフリカ」を題材にした86年のライブラリー作品。数々の打楽器、フルート、アフリカンドラム等で作り上げられた繊細ながらワイルドな一面も色濃く映し出された彼らの手掛けた作品でも人気の一枚で、中でも広大なサバンナをイメージさせるアンビエント的な”Vision Future”、マリンバ,シロフォンの瑞々しい響きで演出された”Forest”、美しいニューエイジ・トラック”Landscape”を筆頭に素晴らしい楽曲が並びます。これは一生ものと言ってもいいでしょう。
