Made in 1988 by Rumbahiana, a singer from the Axé neighborhood that originated in Bahia. The release is on the Nosso Som label, which also released great 12" single Luzia Santanna - Tara. It's full of Axé's various rhythms, particularly recommend reggae/calypso approach of A1 "Negra Sinfonia" starting with a great intro, A2 "Zonnina Moya" where various genres intersect over a salsa tempo with drifting synths, and A4 "A Loira" with its funky melody and various developments. We recommend the A-side, but the up-tempo B-side also has some great tunes.
バイーア発祥のAxé界隈のシンガーRumbahianaによる88年作。リリースは傑作12インチシングルLuzia Santanna – Taraも残すNosso Somレーベルから。Axéの様々なリズムが飛び交う楽曲満載の内容で、最高のイントロから始まるレゲエ/カリプソ アプローチのA1”Negra Sinfonia”、シンセが漂いながらサルサのテンポの上を様々なジャンルが交差するようなA2”Zonnina Moya”、ファンキー・メロウで様々な展開を見せるA4”A Loira”など当店的にはA面がオススメですが、アップテンポなB面もいい曲揃っています。Axéはまだまだいいのが眠っていそうです。
