Brazilian singer-songwriter Piry Reis from Rio de Janeiro, has gained cult popularity worldwide with five albums, all of which can be considered masterpiece, from his first album in 1970 to this last album in 1991. It features an indispensable member of Piry's band Geraldo E. Carneiro, Vanderlei Pereira with Nelson Faria, Ricardo Mattos, and Arthur Verocai on one song. There is not throwaway song on this album, except for the highlights “Limites” and “Marinheiro Do Sol”, we think this is the album that shows his talent as a songwriter among all of his albums.
70年の初作からこの91年のラストアルバムまで全てが傑作と言える通算5枚のアルバムを残し世界的にカルトな人気を得ているリオデジャネイロ出身のSSW Piry Reis。本作でも長年の盟友でもあるPiry作品に欠かせないNando Carneiroの兄でもあるGeraldo E. Carneiro, Vanderlei Pereiraと共にNelson Faria, Ricardo Mattosがバックを固めArthur Verocaiも一曲参加しています。ハイライトの”Limites”や”Marinheiro Do Sol”以外も捨て曲なんて存在しない、全アルバムの中でもソングライターとしての才気を感じさせるアルバムと思います。聞き終えた後の余韻は何とも言い難い優越感に浸ることができます。盤面も非常に綺麗、ジャケットも多少の汚れのみの素晴らしいコンディションでの入荷です。
