Made in 1994 by Paulo Tovar, a musician in the Axé scene who fused various Afro-Caribbean genres such as Marcha, Reggae, and Calypso, which originated in Bahia. It shows a unique sound that adds new wave, experimental to the elements of Axé and variety of tracks such as A2 like New Wave reggae, A3 like a mixture of unique vocals and funky mellow calypso, B2 like Samba reggae. The gentle atmosphere that surrounds the whole may be good at this summer time. It is also recommended for those who are looking for unusual Brazilian piece. Probably private press.
バイーア発祥のマルチャ、レゲエ、カリプソなどのアフロカリビアンのさまざまなジャンルを融合させたAxé界隈のミュージシャンと思われるPaulo Tovarによる94年作。Axéの要素にニューウェーヴ、エクスペリメンタルなども加味されたような独特なサウンドを披露していて、ニューウェーヴ・レゲエのようなA2、独特のヴォーカルとファンキーメロウなカリプソが混ざったようなA3、サンバ・レゲエB2などを筆頭にバラエティに富んだ楽曲を収録。全体を包む緩やかな雰囲気もこの時期にはいいかもしれません。変わったブラジルものお探しの方にも。おそらく自主盤です。
