Gilberto Gil, one of Brazil's most important artists who led Tropicalismo along with Caetano Veloso, recorded this 1971 album while in exile in London, with lyrics entirely in English. The mix of mystic UK atmosphere and Brazilian sensibilities makes this album a great listen, with a different rock taste and folky image than his other works. Also includes experimental tracks and covers. Japanese version with rare obi. The disc is in very good condition, and there are some scratches on the jacket that look like tape marks, but think it's not a bad copy.
カエターノ・ヴェローソらと共にトロピカリズモを牽引したブラジルの最重要アーティストのひとりGilberto Gilがロンドン亡命時に録音した全英語詞による71年作。ミスティックなUKの空気感にブラジルの感性が混じり合った彼の他作品とは異なるロックテイストやフォーキーなイメージが占める構成がやはり聴き所。実験的な楽曲やカヴァー等も収録。稀少となっている日本盤帯付き。盤面非常に綺麗、ジャケットにテープ跡のような擦れ箇所ありますが悪くないコピーと思います。
