Dado Brazzawilly, a still mysterious singer from Bahia, produced this high quality crossover dance album with local musicians, which was probably released in the early 80's. The album intersects various genres typical of Bahia, such as soul, funk, reggae, African and electric. In particular, A3,B1,B4 are great tracks with an excellent sense of obscure. The jacket is also amazing.
未だ謎多きバイーア出身のシンガーDado Brazzawillyが地元のミュージシャンと共に制作した、おそらく80年前半にリリースされたものと思われるソウル、ファンク、レゲエ、アフリカン、エレクトリックなどバイーア産らしい様々なジャンルが交差する高品位クロスオーバーダンスアルバム。特にA3,B1,B4はオブスキュア感覚にも秀でたグッドトラック。ジャケも最高ですね。
