The only release by Ti' Punch, a group that appears to be a one-off project formed in Lyon, France. Side A features "Star à 5 ans" a reggae/Caribbean-taste synth boogie with children's choruses. Side B features our recommended AOR style mid soul track "Une Longueur d'Avance" with exquisite mix of funky and melancholy. The cover is nice too.
フランス・リヨンで結成されたワンオフプロジェクトと思われるグループTi' Punchによる唯一作。子供のコーラス入りのレゲエ/カリビアン雰囲気のシンセ・ブギー”Star à 5 ans”をA面。そして当店推しのAOR調のミッド・ソウル”Une Longueur d'Avance”をB面に収録。ファンキー具合と哀愁が入り混じるこのB面が絶妙。ジャケもいい感じ。
