The first album in 1991 by Tomoko Kina, the former wife of Shokichi Kina, a symbol of Okinawan music, who also sang on the famous song "Hana" and 12-inch single "Okinawa Dance Mix" that we introduced. Produced/arranged by Chakra Bun Itakura and Yasuaki Shimizu, the sound has a strong oriental/ambient feel to it. Among the highlights were A2/A4, which truly transformed into two producer's sounds, and other modern updates such as T8, reminiscent of chakras, and T9, a Ryukyu down-tempo track. Great!
沖縄音楽の象徴 喜納昌吉の前妻でもあり名曲「花」や当店でもご紹介したダンス仕様12インチ「沖縄 Dance Mix」でもヴォーカルを担当していた喜納友子による91年のファーストアルバム。プロデュース/アレンジにはチャクラ板倉文と清水靖晃が担当してオリエンタル/アンビエント感覚が色濃く演出されたサウンドになっています。中でも正に二人の音に変化したA2/A4がハイライト、他にもチャクラを彷彿させるT8や琉球ダウンテンポ曲T9など近代的なアップデートがなされた楽曲が並びます。
