1991 CD release by Southern Crossings, a group consisting of composer/multi-instrumentalist Michael Atherton, percussionist Michael Askill, and cello/synthist John Napier, who left a fourth-world work in 1987. This album also includes 11 tunes that experiment with acoustic intersections with musical climates that cannot be confined to Aboriginal music alone. The cover is a little bit disappointing compared to the 1987 album, but you can hear that the sound has become richer and more varied. Particularly T5/T6/T7 are amazing.
87年に第四世界的音響作品を残している作曲家/マルチ奏者Michael Atherton、打楽器奏者Michael Askill、チェロ/シンセ奏者John NapierによるグループSouthern Crossingsの91年作。この作品でもアボリジナルだけでは収まりきらない音楽風土との音響交差実験全11曲を収録。87年作に比べジャケットが少し残念な感もあるんですが、その音もヴァラエティ豊かになっているのがわかると思います。T5/T6/T7あたりから聞いてみて下さい。素晴らしい。
