Carlos Pacini, a musician/philosopher/writer from Natividade, one of the best maintained ecosystems in Brazil, who studied art, composition, philosophy, and literature seriously from an early age and belonged to a guru-like position since the rise of the New Age movement in the late 80s. This 1995 CD piece is the follow-up to his electric-acoustic work from 1991. The album presents a more mature sound, with improvised electronic sounds, meditation, cosmic sensation, and spirituality added to the theme of nature. The tunes are have well-thought developments, and the longer ones are also worth listening to. Wonderful toughout.
ブラジルでも有数の生態系を維持するナティヴィダーデ出身の音楽家/哲学者/作家 Carlos Pacini。幼い頃から芸術、作曲、哲学、文学を本格的に学びながら80年代後半にニューエイジ運動の隆起から教祖的な立場に属していた人物。本作は当店でもご紹介した91年のエレクトリック・アコースティック作品に次いでリリースされた95年作。即興電子音響に自然をテーマにメディテーション、宇宙感覚、スピリチュアルなどが加味されたより成熟度を増したサウンドを披露。どれも練られた展開で長めの曲も聴き応えあります。けっこう天才の部類かも。全編素晴らしいです。
