In addition to famous activities represented by Aragon and Geinoh Yamashirogumi, Keishi Urata is a manipulator involved in many important works. This piece was released in 1995, about five years after the surprise release of his amazing first album in 1989. The impression that the lone sound has been further refined while shifting to a more minimal/ambient atmosphere while maintaining the ethno feeling of a different dimension. 13 tracks in all, including the long conceptual tune "Autobiography" which seems to depict the pattern of his own mind, the abstract new age "Hotaru," and "Whale" which depicts a soundscape similar to Eblen Macari, as well as shorter tracks. Total genius work. Not be surprised at all if it's released recent year.
Aragon,芸能山城組に代表される活動の他にも数々の重要作品に関わるマニュピレーター浦田恵司。驚きを持ってリリースされた89年の超傑作ファーストアルバムから約5年後に発表された95年のアルバム。異次元のエスノ感覚はそのままに、よりミニマル/アンビエントな雰囲気に移行しながらも更に孤高のサウンドが磨かれた印象。自らの心の模様を描いたような大曲”自伝”、アブストラクト・ニューエイジ”螢”、Eblen Macariにも似たようなサウンドスケープを描く”くじら”に加え、短い曲群にも隙が見当たらない全13曲。天才です。近年にリリースされたとしても全く不思議でない完成された作品。
