Eskaton is an French progressive rock band fronted by two female vocalists. Although this album was released on cassette only as their second album, it was actually recorded at the end of 1978, before their debut album "Ardeur". Contains four long tracks ranging from 8 to 12 minutes, all of which are of high level, with hypnotic tones from the two electric piano players, a groovy playing form that ranges from high to mid-range, and female vocals/scat. It's no wonder that it's especially popular among fans, and it would be a waste to limit it to just the progressive rock genre. An original tape from 1981.
2人の女性ヴォーカリストをフロントに据えたエレクトリック・プログレ・バンドEskaton。本作はセカンドアルバムとしてカセットのみでリリースされた作品ですが、実際はデビュー作”Ardeur”よりも前の1978年末に録音されたもの。8分から12分の長尺の4曲を収録していて、2人のエレピ奏者のヒプノティックな音色、高速からミドルまで操るグルーヴィーな演奏フォーム、女性ヴォーカル/スキャットとどの曲も非常にハイレベル。ファンの中でもとりわけ人気が高いのも頷ける、プログレの枠だけに留めておくのは勿体ない作品。81年のオリジナル・テープです。
