Akira Inoue, a genius musician who continues to express his diverse activities at high level from composing and arranging for renowned artists to creating music for film, TV, media, as well as a wide range of solo works embraced by core audiences. This work, released in 1984, is the 4th in the cassette book series "Seed". Taking the legendary ballet dancer Nijinsky, with whom he had connections, as its theme, it creates numerous fantastical soundscape where abstract, ambient, ethnic, minimalism musical elements blend together while permeating with a classical resonance. As inoue himself describes, these tracks seem to have been created through hours of recording and studio work that would be unimaginable today. The conversation with Motoharu Sano is also fascinating. The original is now rarer than "Haruomi Hosono "Watering a Flower". The cassette plays well.
著名アーティストの作編曲から映画、TV等のメディアの為の音楽、コア層にまで受け入れられるような幅広いソロ作品の数々など、多岐に渡る活動を高次元で表現し続ける天才音楽家 井上艦。本作はカセットブックシリーズ ”Seed"の第4弾として発表した84年作。接点のあった伝説的バレエ・ダンサー“ニジンスキー”をテーマにクラシカルな響きを滲ませながらアブストラクト、アンビエント、エスノ、ミニマルといった音楽的要素が溶け合わせた幻想的空間の数々。本人が語る今では考えられないような長時間に及ぶレコーディングやスタジオワークから生み出された楽曲達のようです。佐野元春との会談も興味深い内容です。現在オリジナルは『花に水』よりも高い稀少度になっています。カセットも再生良好。お見逃しなく。
