Sandwidi Pierren, SSW/guitarist from Upper-Volta (now Burkina Faso) is a symbol of the Volta sound and released many singles in the 70's, and also known as a politically active person. This is his second album, released in 1984. The album consists of 6 songs, mainly reggae-style and electro-funk, among which "Je Suis Un Salaud", an electronic Afro-ballad in B2 is nostalgic and tasteful, and Lo-fi atmosphere and mellow electric piano on reggae funk A2 "Fils Du Sahel", electric afro-reggae A1 "Nab Wind Sigda" are also good. It's a good mix of African sounds that fits in with current mood.
オートボルタ（現ブルキナファソ）のSSW/ギタリストSandwidi Pierren。ボルタサウンドの象徴として70年代には多くのシングルをリリースし、同時に政治的活動も精力的に行っていた人物として知られています。本作は84年リリースのセカンドアルバム。レゲエ調やエレクトロファンクな楽曲中心の全6曲の構成で、その中で異彩を放つB2に収録の電子アフロバラードとも言えそうな”Je Suis Un Salaud”が非常に味わい深くて最高、Lo-fiな雰囲気とメロウなエレピが舞うレゲエ・ファンクA2”Fils Du Sahel”、エレクトリック・アフロ・レゲエA1”Nab Wind Sigda”などフロアライクな曲群もいい具合。現在のトレンドとも合致するいいとこ取りなアフリカンサウンドを収録しています。
