A collection of popular music by Conjunto N'Zaji, a group from the Republic of Angola. It is known as the birthplace of semba, one of the roots of samba, and its musicality is appealing, with a strong sense of the encounter with Brazilian music through trade, just as African culture is rooted in Brazil. A total of 9 tracks with dusty vocals, soft melodies, indigenous feeling, and glimpses of choro and other Brazilian influences. The B-side is especially wonderful. Think it's in category of beautiful African records that don't have that much noise.
