Farewood, a band from Connecticut, led by vocalist Lou Lorenzo, has been steadily pursuing their own path since the early 90s. This self-released debut album compiles recordings made between 1992 and 1993 in bedroom using 4-track cassette recorder. 17 lo-fi folk tracks featuring vocals slowed down to create pale, muted soundscape. Amazing indie release.
ヴォーカルのLou Lorenzoを中心に90年代初頭から現在もマイペースに活動を続ける米コネチカットのバンドFarewood。本作は92年から93年にかけてベッドルームにて4トラック・カセットレコーダーを使って録音された音源をまとめたファーストアルバム。ボーカルをスロー再生にした淡くくすんだ音像を描くローファイ・フォーク全17曲。色合いも絶妙のわんこジャケもいい塩梅。
