Dangdut is a popular music that originated in Indonesia and was welcomed with open arms in neighboring Malaysia. Asmara was released in 1987 by Zaleha Hamid, one of the most talented Malay singers, and is a sequel to the 1985 work focused on dangdut. Starting with the highlight, the synth dangdut reggae "Dangdut Reggae II", "Tandus" with impressive backing performance, mid-kayo style song "Sekadar Meminta", and wired dangdut funk "Apa Sebabnya", all filled with pleasant rhythms. You can also listen to it as an Obscure piece. Includes an explanation sheet in Japanese, distributed by Bomba Records, a famous label that introduced many imported records to Japan.
隣国マレーシアにも伝わり大きな歓迎を受けたインドネシア発祥のポピュラー音楽のひとつダンドゥット。本作はマレイ歌謡界実力派のひとりZaleha Hamidが85年のダンドゥットに絞った作品の続編となる87年作。ハイライトのシンセ・ダンドゥット・レゲエ”Dangdut Reggae II”にはじまり、華麗なバッキングも印象的な”Tandus”、ミッド歌謡”Sekadar Meminta”、ワイヤード・ダンドゥット・ファンク”Apa Sebabnya”などなど気持ちいいリズムに溢れています。オブスキュア作品としても聞いて頂けると思います。数々の輸入盤を日本に紹介した名レーベルBomba Recordsのディストリビューションにて日本語での解説シート付。
