A collection of Okinawan children's songs released through the efforts of Fumiko Nakayoshi, who was born in Okinawa before the war and moved to Tokyo shortly after the war, and founded the Children's Song Preservation and Promotion Society out of a desire for nostalgia. Contains children's songs recreated mainly by the students of Haebaru Elementary School Choir Club. Includes commentary for each song by Nakayoshi. The year of release is unknown, but it is a valuable record of children's songs that were no longer sung at that time. We also recommend listening to and comparing Tsugaru children's songs by Kyozo Takagi.
戦前の沖縄に生まれ、戦後まもなく東京への移住を機に望郷に駆られた事を機に童べ唄保存普及会を設立した仲吉史子の尽力によりリリースされた沖縄童べ唄集。南風原小学校合唱クラブの生徒を中心に再現された童べ唄をズラリ収録。仲吉による一曲ずつの解説付き。リリース年は不明ですが、その当時でも歌われなくなっていたという童べ唄の貴重な記録。高木恭造による津軽わらべうたの聞き比べも推薦。
