A collection of pieces depicting Chinese romanticism from the series entitled "Local Sound". It was performed by a synth player Gao Ni Ni who has also left a solo works, an orchestra player, guitar, flute, and piano. All instrumental range from pastoral atomosphere to oriental electronics, orchestral tune that stir the imagination, based on folk songs from various regions. The good developmental electornics ”十大姐” and the new age electronic ”落水天” are especially outstanding. This is a valuable work in the Chinese new age/ambient sound sources that will gradually be revealed in the future.

ローカル・サウンドと銘打たれたシリーズに残された中華的ロマンシズムを描いた楽曲集。ソロ作も残しているシンセ奏者高妮妮はじめオーケストラ演奏者、ギター、フルート、ピアノの編成にて描かれた民謡を素材にした牧歌的な空気感を滲ませる曲からオリエンタル・エレクトロニクス、壮大なオーケストラ曲までイマジナリーを掻き立てます。とりわけ展開にも優れた”十大姐”、ニューエイジ・エレクトロニクス”落水天”は白眉。これから徐々に明かされていくであろう中国におけるニューエイジ/電子音響においても貴重な作品だと思います。
