Released in 1965 by Bali-based gamelan orchestra, presumed to have been formed by the family. A total of four tracks that change in development, from rhythmic and colorful performances to one act in which the reverberant sound approaches like a drone. It's simply radical music that reminds us again that it is not at all old-fashioned even if we listen to it with a modern sensibility. The vivid artwork is also impressive, as is the jacket of the reissue version.
一家で結成されていたと推測されるバリを拠点としたガムラン楽団による65年の作品。リズミカルかつ色彩豊かな演奏から残響音がドローンのように迫る一幕まで展開を変化させていく全4曲。現代的な感覚で聞いても全く古さを感じさせない先鋭的な音楽と再認識させてくれます。リイシュー版のジャケットを見るような鮮やかなアートワークも印象的。色々と驚きを持たせてくれるそんなレコードだと思います。
