Tanguito aka Tango aka Ramsés VII, a rock/folk singer who wrote "La Balsa" an early hit for Los Gatos that is called the originators of Argentine rock, and who later became a major influence on the rock scene, however he died at the young age of 27 after a drug addiction. This release is a collection of demo sound sources recorded during the Mandioca period, an independent record label that he was signed at the time, and was released posthumously in 1973. The songs were written under unusual circumstances, such as being under the influence of hard drugs at the time of recording and not coming back to the studio for a few days. It's an acid and drone-flavored folk, as you'd expect, but it's a work that we want you to experience with all its charm, like Syd Barrett. A historical album that should not be missed when talking about Argentine rock. Original Mono version (not gatefold) from 1973.
