Composer/pianist Sergio Mihanovich was born into a musical family, began composing music as a teenager, and started his career at the legendary Club Jamaica, where he has been a prominent figure since the early days of Argentine jazz with like a Jorge Lopez Luiz and Gato Barbieri. This work was released in 1976 by the prestigious Trova label. The sound is a blend of Mondo, Easy Listening, Bossa Nova, AOR, etc. in full English poetry, and the influence of Western pop music can be heard. His meloncholic vocals also add color. Total great contents, mellow ballad "In My Private World," the rhythmic pop tune "A Crime In The Making," the spacy lounge "Anything," and mondo bossa-style "Another Day" are particularly eye-catching.
音楽一家に生まれ10代の頃から作曲を始め、今や伝説として語られるクラブ・ジャマイカにてキャリアをスタートさせJorge Lopez LuizやGato Barbieriと共にアルゼンチン・ジャズ創生期よりその名を残す作曲家/ピアニスト Sergio Mihanovich。本作は名門Trovaよりリリースされた76年作。全英詩にてオーケストラ仕立てのモンド、イージーリスニング、ボサノヴァ、AOR等がブレンドされ欧米のポップスの影響も伺えるようなサウンド。彼のメロンコリックなヴォーカルも彩りを添えています。中でもメロウ・バラード”In My Private World”、リズミカルなポップス調”A Crime In The Making”、スペーシー・ラウンジ”Anything”、モンド・ボッサ風”Another Day”は特に目を引きますが全編素晴らしい内容です。
