The first album of Marcela Passadore, SSW/composer from the Argentinean province of Entre Rios, who has worked with Litto Nebbia, Carlos Aguirre, Fernando Cabrera and others, in 1992. The Melopea release, which of course features all of Nebbia's participation, as well as Carlos Aguirre, Lucho González, César Franov and other contemporary folklore players, is a sure thing. B4 "De Aquella Lluvia Imaginaria" arranged by Lucho González and Carlos Aguirre, a reprise of their 1990 masterpiece "Tejido A Mano", B1 "El Vuelo De Una Estrella" by Aguirre are the highlight of the album. Nebbia's arrangement A4 and B3 is also amazing folky and melancholy tune. We were told by Mario Sobrino, a long-time Melopea sound engineer, that this was the last record to be produced at Melopea.
Litto Nebbia,Carlos Aguirre,Fernando Cabreraなどと共に活動してきたアルゼンチン・エントレ・リオス州出身のSSW/コンポーザーMarcela Passadoreの92年のファーストアルバム。Melopeaからのリリースなので勿論Nebbiaが全面参加、Carlos Aguirre,Lucho González,César Franovなどコンテンポラリー・フォルクローレ勢が参加している間違いのない内容。まず90年の名作"Tejido A Mano"の再演となるLucho González, Carlos Aguirreがアレンジを手掛けたB4”De Aquella Lluvia Imaginaria”、同じくCarlos AguirreアレンジのB1"El Vuelo De Una Estrella"の二曲が白眉、NebbiaがアレンジをつとめたA4,B3もメランコリーを感じさせる素晴らしい楽曲。全曲隙なしの推薦盤。Melopeaで生産された最後のレコードという話も長年Melopeaのサウンドエンジニアを務めたMario Sobrinoさんに伺いました。
